Students can choose from two focused tracks within the program to earn a Bachelor of Science degree:
- Heavy Construction Management - “Horizontal Construction,” i.e., roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, etc.
- General Construction Management - “Vertical Construction,” i.e. Commercial and Residential multi-story buildings

Construction Management Courses
Coursework in the Construction Management programs builds upon a core fundamental of courses from cost control, construction law, construction safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sustainable construction, structure analysis & design, internships (required), and a senior capstone project.
ELECTIVES: Building Energy Management and Special Topics
MANAGEMENT: Leadership, Ethics, Business Law, Human Resources, etc.

Courses and requirements include (but are not limited to):
Construction Law
Introduction to the American legal system, ethics, and issues significant to business and construction industries
Construction Project Scheduling
Students are given an overview and practice in construction management theory, equipment timing, sub-contractor coordination, procurement, project administration, project closeout, and commissioning.
Construction Safety
Topics include current occupational safety and health issues. Practical application of regulations in the industrial setting.
Construction Internship
Students will be required to work in a supervised setting where they receive training to develop career-related skills while applying college-learned theory.
Senior Project
Demonstrate core business concepts, stakeholder collaboration, decision-support tools, research skills, and delivering professional written reports and presentations.
Structural Analysis & Design
Introduction to behavior and analysis of building structures. Structural loading, materials, and element types will be explored to understand the basic building blocks of buildings
