Celebration of Labor Day Weekend - September 2, 2022
As we fast approach the start of the fall term, there is much to look forward to a healthier year ahead for all of us to interact more in person given that the pandemic is mostly behind us, the return of students, welcoming new faculty and staff and welcoming back our continuing faculty, new and improved teaching, research, and athletics facilities, and celebrating Oregon Tech’s 75th anniversary and all that our university has accomplished in the past thanks to the contributions of so many, like each of you do today, and to envision the future.

Juneteenth Day - June 15, 2022
June 19, 2022, marks the second official federal recognition of the Juneteenth holiday, commemorating the final announcement of the abolition of slavery and the emancipation of enslaved Black Americans in the United States. It is the oldest Black American holiday observance in the United States, and we commemorate Black American freedom through official recognition.
