A Little Bit About Me

I come from the Middle East as a Palestinian Israeli and hold dual citizenship in both America and Israel. My hobbies include weightlifting, video game development, some cybersecurity, and various engineering projects. I am passionate about applying theoretical knowledge to practical solutions. Currently, I focus heavily on my academics, spending less time on social gatherings compared to high school. I aim to pursue a master's at Oregon Tech, followed by a PhD in AI, and possibly medical school.

Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major

I chose Oregon Tech because of their strong outreach to my local community in Klamath Falls, consistently showcasing themselves as an accessible, high-quality institution that emphasizes hands-on learning without inflating tuition costs. I chose my major because I enjoy being challenged and applying my knowledge to practical solutions while delving deeper into the theories of mathematics and physics.

My Influential Professors

My influential professors at Oregon Tech include Matt Schnackenberg, who helped me connect to topics related to logic and logical fallacies in writing, speech and in general life. George Drouant enhanced my understanding of microcontroller code, circuits, and engineering principles. James Ballard and Luis Esteban who guided me through the theory of electrical circuits and the electrical engineering department. Jim Fischer helped me see the connection between mathematics and applied physics in Applied Differential Equations. Stefan Andrei introduced me to aspects of research and engineering.

My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech

My greatest learning experience at Oregon Tech has been applying my knowledge from Electrical Engineering and mathematics courses to implement digital system designs and projects. This hands-on approach, especially in understanding and proving equations like the Divergence Theorem, has deepened my comprehension and problem-solving skills, making theoretical concepts practical and tangible.

My Plans After Graduation

My plans for the future after graduating with my degree include pursuing a master's degree at Oregon Tech, followed by a PhD in AI at another institution. Additionally, I hope to attend medical school if possible, combining my passion for engineering and technology with medical science to contribute to advancements in healthcare. Or, I might pursue PhD in theoretical physics instead.
