A Little Bit About Me
A little about myself is that I absolutely love music. I play cello and play with the Klamath Symphony. I have been playing for almost 10 years, and I absolutely love it. I also enjoy going to concerts with my friend. Music brings people together and I love seeing it happen. I also love spending time with my family. We like to spend lots of time outdoors.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose Oregon Tech because I get to stay home, and the programs at Oregon Tech are amazing and superior. I decided to major in Nursing because I learned that I love to help others. My love for science also ties in a lot to my decision to pursue a nursing career. Being at home and at college allows me to have more time for extracurricular activities while still being very involved in my studies.
My Influential Professors
The first professor that comes to mind is Professor Elliott. I love how she compares the human body to animals. It’s interesting to see the similarities and differences between humans and animals. Also, her love for animals is inspiring!! She is an amazing professor, and I am grateful that I’ve had her for all terms of my freshman year.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
My greatest learning experience at Oregon Tech so far has been learning all about the human body. I’ve learned so much anatomy and physiology from my professors, and every day I learn so much new stuff about the body and how it works.
My Plans After Graduation
My plans for the future once I have my degree is to gain my nursing residency in Oregon and later go on to be a travel nurse in Oregon, and potentially in other states.
