A Little Bit About Me

I enjoy camping, fishing, and hanging out with my family. I also love animals and I hope to have my own little farm in the future.

Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major

I chose Oregon Tech because it allowed me to stay close to home and I heard great things about it from previous students. I wanted to stay in Oregon as well as get my bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. I chose to pursue this major because I want to help others feel comfortable and confident in their smile. I love to help others and I thought this career would help me do that. I am also looking forward to the flexible work schedule as I plan to have a family in the future.

My Influential Professors

There are many influential professors that I have met during my time at Oregon Tech. A few specific professors include Mrs. Pratt, Mrs. Neely, and Mrs. Swigart. These professors have taught me how to be professional and compassionate with my patients.

My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech

My greatest learning experience has been getting to treat patients in our campus dental clinic. It's taught me how to schedule and communicate with my community members. It has also improved my critical thinking skills while providing care to a diverse group of patients, just like I will have to do after graduation.

My Plans After Graduation

I plan to work at a dental office in a rural community. I also hope to buy a piece of land where I can start a family and get some farm animals.
