Extracurricular Activities
I enjoy going outside and playing with my dog, Joji. I also enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and playing video games with my buddies from back home.
A Little Bit About Me
I grew up in Vancouver, Washington along with my mom, dad, brother, and sister. Growing up, we always had dogs within our household and also up the road, where my parents and grandparents own a dog boarding facility. Dogs are a huge part of my life. I started playing basketball when I was in the 5th grade and fell in love with it immediately. I attended Prairie High School where I became the all-time leading scorer. I committed to Oregon Tech before I went into my senior year of High School
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose Oregon Tech because it felt like family. I felt very important when the coaching staff told me that they traveled to Vegas just to watch me play when I was still high school.
My Influential Professors
My first would be Kevin Brown, I wouldn't be where I am today through this schooling process if it weren't for him. He's been a tremendous help throughout the years. My two others would be Riley Richards and Michael Lucas. These two teachers have made it so much easier to enjoy coming to class.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
My greatest learning experience here at Oregon Tech is learning how to properly apply myself when it comes to school work. I've never been the type to enjoy school so I never truly applied myself. Once I started to, I noticed that my grades began to rise and my confidence in the classroom got much better.
My Plans After Graduation
I plan on becoming a basketball trainer so that I can teach younger athletes the tools and skills I learned throughout my years as a basketball player. I looked up to my trainers for years and saw them like family. I want to be that for someone else.
