Extracurricular Activities
I’ve participated in three sports, soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and softball in the spring!
A Little Bit About Me
I've lived in Prineville, Oregon my whole life and I have grown very fond of it! My whole world feels like it evolves around sports, which it does. I was put into a lot of sports since a young age and stuck with 3 of them, but it has taught me many things like time management, communication, commitment, being there for yourself and your team. I would describe myself as shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I am really out there. I'm bubbly and very caring towards others!
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose Oregon Tech because a lot of my family has gone there. It seems like a great environment to be around with many supportive professors to help you out. I went to New Wings and it was a fun experience which got me even more excited to commit at Oregon Tech. I chose the nursing path because I love helping others out and in the long run, I know all the hard work will be worth it.
My Influential Professors
My influential teacher in high school was definitely my health teacher Mrs. Cross because not only was she there for me and talked about everything with me, but she taught me to go for anything I want and how to never give up and keep fighting. She is the definition of that because she battled breast cancer and she is a strong woman!
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
My greatest learning experiences in high school have been in the classrooms where the teachers are really there for you if you're struggling on something and care a lot which I can say every teacher I had, were very supportive and helped me out a lot with me being gone from school quite a bit because of sports.
My Plans After Graduation
After graduating with my degree at Oregon Tech I plan to move back to Prineville, Or and work in St. Charles Bend Hospital. I hope to start a family and get an affordable home and new vehicle!
