A Little Bit About Me
I am originally from Klamath Falls and have lived here my entire life. I enjoy attending college at Oregon Tech, as well as hiking and working for the Tech Opportunities Program. I am excited to go onto externship to experience a new city and way of life.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose Oregon Tech because I heard lots of great things about the college, as well as how great a reputation they have in medical imaging. I chose my major because I grew a big interest in hearts, and exploring the program and learning more about what echocardiography techs do, I knew this was going to be my passion. I am very excited for externship and happy that I chose Oregon Tech and my major.
My Influential Professors
My influential professors are Rosalind McClure and Tara Guthrie. Rosalind McClure was influential to me while I was finishing my classes before applying for my imaging program. She was influential to me by motivating me with advice and extra help in my classes. Tara Guthrie is my program professor, and she has been influential by preparing me with knowledge and skills I will need during my externship.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
My greatest learning experience at Oregon Tech has been the hands-on experience I have gained throughout the past two years. Scanning other students and friends has given me great learning experience and has been enjoyable to say the least.
My Plans After Graduation
After graduating with my degree, my plan is to train in pediatric echocardiography. I am passionate about helping patients and I have had an interest in pediatrics since I was interested in echocardiography.
