A Little Bit About Me
My name is Michelle Fairchild and I am a senior in the dental hygiene program. I enjoy spending time outside with my husband hunting, fishing, hiking, and basically anything outdoors. I spend my free time tending to our herd of cattle and traveling to the coast to spend time with my tribe.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose Oregon Tech because it allowed me to stay close to my hometown and offered the program which I desired most. I chose my major because I wanted a career where I could help people while having a good life to work balance.
My Influential Professors
My most influential professor is Mrs. Bopp. She has been great to work with and always advocates for the students which is really crucial for us.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
My greatest learning experience has been working within the dental clinic. It has provided me with countless hours of experience that will help me throughout my career. I am forever thankful for the clinical hours I have been able to experience.
My Plans After Graduation
After graduating from Oregon Tech, I plan to return to my hometown to practice at a locally owned clinic to serve the community. I also may work for my tribe providing education.
