My hobbies are dancing, drawing, hiking, traveling, and exploring new places! I am currently engaged and plan to get married after I graduate!
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I chose Oregon Tech because I liked the smaller classes and campus. I also liked that it allowed me to have a closer relationship with the professors. I chose Echocardiography as my major because I knew I wanted to do something in healthcare to help people, I like the heart and learning how it functions, I like how much patient interaction I get, and I also like how I play a part in the diagnosis of a patient.
My Influential Professors
My influential professors are Tara and Joey. I like how they really care about their students and encourage me to be the best sonographer I can be. They are always available if I have any questions and have given me the support that I need.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
My greatest learning experience at Oregon Tech has been through the practicals I have done while in the program. The practicals challenged me and made me use my knowledge and scanning skills while applying them to real-life situations. I felt like they really prepared me for what I would do in my career.
My Plans After Graduation
My plans for the future are to be working in a hospital and continue my learning and growth through working.
