Oregon’s governor, Kate Brown will deliver the keynote address, as nearly 800 students and their families celebrate graduation from the university.

The Class of 2018 includes 721 individuals, some who received multiple degrees, amounting to 756 degrees awarded.

Nearly 150 students participated in the ceremony on campus, surrounded by faculty, staff, family and friends.

The Class of 2019 includes 751 individuals with a great future ahead of them with a current competitive edge of 97 percent of Oregon Tech graduates employed or in graduate programs within six months of graduation. MLS is a highly competitive program, admitting only 50 students a year. The 86-year-old nationally accredited MLS program was established by OHSU in 1933, and today is a joint Oregon Tech-OHSU program administered by Oregon Tech. It is the only four-year degree program of its kind in the state and the largest in the Pacific Northwest

The 2020 commencement ceremonies scheduled for June at the Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro campuses will be held instead as a combined virtual event, in response to the need for participant safety and for physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
