The first lab of its kind at Oregon Tech, the James and Shirley Rippey Family Foundation Concrete Laboratory will allow students to run tests on concrete—the most widely used building material in the world.

Do you know why is there so little antimatter in the universe? Does gravity affect antimatter in the same way as matter? If you've ever taken a physics class from Dr. Robyn Wilde, you may have a little more understanding of those questions. A professor of Physics at Oregon Tech, Dr. Wilde has received a $120,000 grant from the National Science Foundation’s Research in Undergraduate Institutions to study particular aspects of how matter and antimatter interact.
