Continuing & Transfer Advising

Our office has two embedded academic advisors, one for each college, to help students navigate through their sophomore years all the way to graduation. These advisors work closely with the different colleges and the respective deans to help their students and Oregon Tech.

If you are a continuing student – then you will get an advisor change in your second year to an embedded advisor. They will reach out to you at different times in the term to help you with any questions and send reminders.

If you are a new transfer student – you will be automatically assigned to an embedded advisor who will reach out to make a meeting and get to know you. From there they will reach out at different times in the terms to help you with any questions and send reminders.
